Scope

The workshop will discuss recent advancements and future trends in the production and application of polarized 3He. Topics addressed are:

  • Polarization of 3He (SEOP, MEOP)
  • 3He containers
  • Magnetic holding systems
  • 3He spin manipulations
  • Applications in neutron scattering, medicine and high energy physics

The workshop will consist of oral presentations to introduce discussions on the subjects. Possibilities for poster presentations are on request.

Program

On Sunday, July 11th a short welcome will be organised in the early evening. The scientific program of the workshop will start on Monday, July 12th early in the morning. The workshop will end on Tuesday, July 13th in the late afternoon (approx. 4:00 pm).

Workshop fee

The workshop fee is 290 EUR. Reduced fee without accommodation is 140 EUR

The full workshop fee includes full lodging and board at Commundo Conference Hotel Ismaning, as well as workshop dinner.

Commundo Conference Hotel Ismaning



The workshop venue is in Ismaning, North of Munich, about 20 minutes by public transportation from Munich city center and 15 minutes from Munich airport.
