SPHERES
Backscattering spectrometer with phase space transformer

SPHERES is a third-generation backscattering spectrometer with focussing optics and a phase-space transforming chopper.
Current energy resolution is 0.65 μeV FWHM (unpolished Si) with an energy range of ±31 μeV.
